Experiencing Education for Life
EFL is more about how we interact with children rather than what we teach them. In this five-class series you’ll have the opportunity to 1) practice “Entering the Child’s World”, 2) use meditation to clarify your perception of the child, 3) practice consciousness-raising exercises on yourself, and 4) appreciate the experiential foundation for sharing values with children.
This course is for teachers, parents and everyone working with children.

Practicing the EFL Principles
This five-class series offers an in-depth exploration of all the main topics from the book Education for Life. Topics include teaching the whole child, individualized learning, and finding appropriate ways to motivate children. Completion of the Experiencing EFL course as a pre-requisite is strongly encouraged.

Creating Curriculum
This four-class series applies the concepts introduced in the first two courses to classroom activities. Students review sample EFL lesson plans, create their own, and receive feedback on their efforts.

This two month course provides ongoing personal guidance for teachers wanting to implement the EFL approach. Prerequisites include all three of the other online teacher courses.
