This packet is aimed toward ages 4-10. Appropriate for classrooms, after-school programs, and homeschooling and church groups. Some activities promote a mind/body connection, self-awareness, self-control and the use of personal will to accomplish goals. Others teach relating to others, working with a team, and community awareness.
Most of these games and strategies were developed by teachers at several Living Wisdom Schools; a few were adapted from other sources. Many involve movement, such as “Wiggle and Stop”. Some help children learn emotional resilience, such as “Water Off a Duck’s Back.” Others explain how to promote personal development and cooperation, such as recess.
